Barry Ferguson has lauded the impact of Danny Rohl as he has transformed Rangers in a short amount of time.

Currently, the Ibrox outfit sit in second place in the Scottish Premiership table, with just two losses all season.

Things are now in their hands, as if they win the remaining games, they will clinch the title unless there is a major goal difference swing.

Danny Rohl has lost just one league game as Rangers manager…

If YOU were to change one thing about his management style for next season, what would it be? 🤔

Barry Ferguson lauds Danny Rohl impact at Rangers

Ferguson has admitted that he did not see his former side being part of a title race when Rohl took over in October.

At the time, the Gers had just nine points from eight games and were sitting in a dismal sixth place.

The deficit between them and league leaders Hearts was 13 points, but he quickly got a tune out of his players and helped turn things around.

This is something that Ferguson admired about Rohl, as he is backing his former team to win the title.

He told the Daily Record: “For these supporters, Rangers is their life. And he’ll feel that even more if they can win this Premiership title. Ultimately, you want to be successful and Danny Rohl’s side is definitely in a race now.

“Which is incredible, given where the club was in October when he arrived as manager. I didn’t see it coming, if I’m being brutally honest with you.

“But at the business end of the season, at least Rangers are in a fight for the trophy.”

Next up for the Gers following the international break is a game at Ibrox against Dundee United before they go to Falkirk.

Celtic have to navigate a tricky away trip to Dundee before hosting St Mirren at Parkhead on 11 April.

For Hearts, they will be delighted that their away fixture is one against the bottom-placed Livingston side before they take on Motherwell at home.
