Hamza Igamane may have hit a barren spell – but Rangers still have a player on their hands.
The Moroccan hasn’t scored in six games after a spell of bagging nine from 10 Premiership matches and also hitting a Europa League double against Nice and one against Tottenham.
He has been moved around three different positions which has frustrated fans, but Philippe Clement has told Igamane it will make him a better player.
However, his form hasn’t been what it was and Andy Halliday expressed concerns over his display against Queen’s Park.
Clearly still a smart signing at £1.7m, the 22-year-old has a way to go to get back to his levels of a few weeks ago.
If that happens, he will have clubs back on his tail after several teams in the Premier League and beyond were taking a look in January.
Igamane recently sent a message to Spurs and Newcastle after they were two of the clubs linked.

Ferguson says Rangers can make small Hamza Igamane fortune
Barry Ferguson has previously praised Igamane and told how he wanted him to stay put even if a big-money sale would represent player trading success for the club.
And, despite the recent rut, definitely still thinks he’s a top player.
And Ferguson reckons they will make a “small fortune” over the bargain acquired from AS FAR in his homeland.
He told the Go Radio Football Show: “In terms of Igamane, Rangers have certainly got a player on their hands.
“It’s just about making sure he develops right, and if that’s going to be the case, I think they will earn a small fortune off him.”
Philippe Clement on Igamane form and new role
“It’s not only with strikers about goals,” Clement told his press conference after the Hearts match. “Or attacking players, because today he (Igamane) started as a striker and ended behind the striker.
“He’s doing his job, he’s working hard for the team, he’s showing good qualities in his work rate, his decision-making is in some games really good, in other games he has a little bit less overview.
“He will be in two, three years only much better by taking these experiences and he’s also somebody who’s hungry every week to see the images, the individual images, to make better choices for the future.
”So he’s only going to grow if he keeps continuing that.”
