Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos hit 30 goals last season, and you get the feeling if he stays around at Ibrox he might just beat that this year.
Yet there are still some rivals who claim his lack of goals against Celtic means he isn’t the player Rangers fans make him out to be.

But Celtic aside, this myth that Morelos “doesn’t score against the big teams” is just that, a complete myth.
Morelos notched against 3rd place Kilmarnock (ten times to be exact), Aberdeen (twice), Hibs and Hearts (twice) – the four other sides in the top six.
In terms of Scotland, they are the biggest teams that exist outside of the Old Firm.
Morelos also notched a few times in the Europa League, against Rapid Vienna, and had a goal cruelly chalked off against Spartak Moscow.
The 23-year-old has now hit over 50 goals for Rangers and it’s no surprise

But Steven Gerrard will be desperate to keep him at Ibrox. So much so the Gers boss is quoted as saying “we hope it’s a huge season ahead for him.”
Part of that will be putting Celtic to the sword and silencing his doubters once and for all.
