Are Steven Gerrard’s boyhood club Liverpool bottling Premier League?

Steven Gerrard never won the English Premiership title with Liverpool, much to his dismay.
But that won’t stop him cheering on the Reds now he’s Rangers manager. The Anfield club are currently locked in a title battle with Manchester City.
And whilst Gerrard has never made any bones about his allegiance to Liverpool, he’ll be one disappointed Red at the moment. Are they throwing the title away?

They’ve thrown away a nine point lead in December to being one point behind Manchester City as of today.
They have lost two and drawn four of their last six league games.

Liverpool dominating matches but still dropping points – sound familiar?

Liverpool dominated the Merseyside derby today but couldn’t secure the victory over Everton. It was all looking so good as well.
But all is not lost. There are still nine games to go and plenty of points to be won and lost for both of the league leaders.
For Steven Gerrard’s sake, almost every Gers fan will be cheering on Liverpool going in to the final stage of the season. A lot of their support will be doing the same for us.

The Rangers boss’ progress at Ibrox is being closely monitored down south, by both the club and the fans. They also gave us the man who we call the Gaffer, who’ll be absolutely gutted at their capitulation, and a couple of players too.
One of whom fans are desperate to see join the club permanently.
The least we can do is will them to a first league title in almost 30 years.
