Are German giants lining up Rangers' Alfredo Morelos to replace starman?

Rangers’ starman Alfredo Morelos might’ve delighted fans by signing a new contract, but that’s absolutely no confirmation he’ll still be at Ibrox come the start of the next season.
The prolific striker has been linked with a host of clubs over the course of the season. It’s no wonder – his 29 goals were always bound to grab attention.
But are the latest club who’s said to be interested ready to spend big to replace their own starman next year?

Eintracht Frankfurt reportedly sent a scout to watch Morelos against Hibs at Easter Road [Daily Record]. The German giants have a wealth of attacking options in Croatian international Ante Rebic and Serbian striker Luka Jovic.
But it’s the latter who Frankfurt look likely to replace in the summer. He’s on-loan from Benfica, and with reports suggesting clubs from across Europe are lining up, it looks like Frankfurt will be priced out of a move.

None other than Spanish giants Barcelona are said to be interested in snapping up the striker [Marca]. They claim 23 goal Jovic is a €50million target for the La Liga leaders.

It means Frankfurt will definitely be looking to replace the Serbian’s influence going into next season.
Rangers fans will be hoping they aren’t ready to stump up for their Colombian talisman. He’s certainly a very similar player to the Serbian.
