Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou reveals what happened after Rangers lost the Europa League final in 2022.
The Ibrox outfit suffered a heartbreak in Seville, losing to Eintracht Frankfurt in a penalty shootout.
That same season, Celtic won the double, and Postecoglou recalls the reaction after the Gers lost the final.

Ange Postecoglou reveals what Celtic fans sent him after Rangers suffered defeat
Since leaving Celtic, Postecoglou has been the Tottenham and Nottingham Forest manager, and is currently out of work.
He recalled his time spent in Scotland, in particular the 2021/22 season.
The Australian admitted that a perfect weekend for him was when the Ibrox outfit lost and the Hoops won.

He has also revealed that the tribalism is such in Scotland that fans on both sides of the Old Firm divide celebrate the opposition’s losses more than their wins.
Postecoglou has stated that more Celtic fans texted him after Rangers lost the final than when his side won the league.
He told the Overlap: “The perfect weekend in Scotland is Celtic winning, Rangers losing.
“Celtic winning, Rangers winning, is not a good weekend.
“So I remember the first year we won the double, but Rangers are in the Europa Cup [League] final.
“I got more text messages the night they lost the Europa Cup final than while winning the league.”

Can Danny Rohl bring the good times back at Rangers?
Currently, the mood at Ibrox is the most positive it’s been since Steven Gerrard’s title-winning season.
Nobody would have thought when Danny Rohl joined that they would be two points away from the top of the league in mid-February.
Rangers are arguably favourites for the title, given their recent dismantling of Hearts and also Celtic barely getting over the line in their matches.
Rohl will be lauded if he can win the Gers the SPFL title, and the owners will then need to back him again in the summer to ensure that the Light Blues can dominate Scottish football for the foreseeable future.
The main problem was that there was no proper investment into the last title-winning squad which saw Celtic re-take the ascendancy.
