Andy Halliday has been pleased with Tuur Rommens’ impact since his January move to Rangers.
Rangers signed the left-back for a £3m fee from Westerlo as Danny Rohl wants him to be the first-choice option going forward.
Jayden Meghoma was the preferred left-back prior to the Belgian’s arrival, making 23 league appearances this season.

Andy Halliday lauds Tuur Rommens’ all-round game for Rangers
While Rommens has only made three appearances for the Ibrox outfit, Halliday has lauded his impact.
He believes that the 22-year-old brings something to the table that has been lacking previously at the Light Blues.
In his view, the former Westerlo ace tracks back well and, apart from that, is also a threat in the final third.
Halliday has been pleased with the areas he finds possession in, and how he looks to bring his teammates into the game by playing crosses into the box.

Speaking on Open Goal, he said: “Three games, he’s been unbelievable.
“I always feel that Rangers have lacked runners off the ball, and he’s probably the biggest player Rangers have got in terms of running behind.
“He’s been brilliant.
“When he gets into areas, he stands up, crosses, cut-backs at the edge of the box.
“He seems like he’s always trying to pick players out in the area.”

What Danny Rohl thinks about Tuur Rommens
Rohl was undoubtedly excited when the 22-year-old finally became a Rangers player in January.
The German believes that the left-back will strengthen his side physically, something which they have lacked in recent years.
Rohl also sees him as a full-back who can contribute defensively as well as offensively, much like what Halliday noted.

Speaking about Rommens, the Gers boss said: “I’m very happy that he’s here now. We worked hard to make this deal done.
“He will bring us a physical side as well to the team. I think he’s very strong in the defence and also in the offensive.”
While Meghoma did fare decently, it is clear that Rommens is an upgrade on him, and that is a view shared by the Rangers boss as well.
It seems very likely that the Belgium Under-21 international starts the majority of games while the on-loan Brentford defender deputises for him in order to keep the January signing fresh.
