Versatile Rangers player, Andy Halliday, has gone ‘On The Spot’ for a RangersTV feature.
The lifelong blue nose has experienced something of a renaissance under Steven Gerrard.

Just last season, he spent time on loan in Azerbaijan after being frozen out by Pedro Caixinha.
Given a second chance, though, he fought his way back into the first team plans and even earned the Man of the Match award in December’s Old Firm win at Ibrox.
After the game, he declared to RangersTV that it was ‘the best day of his life.’

In this feature, he fielded a variety of questions put to him by Rangers fans.
“Paul Gascoigne is probably my hero,” Halliday answered when asked to name his favourite past Ger. “But, in terms of more my generation growing up, it’s got to be Barry Ferguson.”
“A Rangers fan captaining the club at such a young age and he was very successful. How these things work out, I ended up playing with him later on in my career too, which was very special.”

Who’s the joker of the group?

There were plenty of less serious question questions posed, too. One fan asked who the funniest current member of the squad is.
“There are boys that are funny for different reasons. Alfredo is hilarious and he doesn’t speak English, how’s that possible?
“I’m going to say who makes me laugh the most. I’m going to go, Jon Flanagan, because something about his accent, just the way he speaks and that is hilarious.”
Halliday goes on to declare himself the club’s sharpest dresser and reveals his favourite Still Game episodes.
It’s a good watch and great to get some details on the current crop of Gers outside of the normal stock press conference answers.
