Rangers fans have raved about James Tavernier for his classy gesture to a young fan immediately after Sunday’s victory over Ross County.
Tavernier has received some criticism for his performances during the early stages of the season but his form has been far from disastrous, particularly going forward, as he has four assists from six appearances.
The skipper played the full 90 minutes in Dingwall at the weekend and helped his side to a 4-2 victory.
It was a much-needed positive team performance from the Gers in front of a vocal away section.
Plenty of Bears made the long trip up to the Highlands and after the game, the players showed their appreciation for the support.
Each squad member applauded the fans and Tav gave one youngster, in particular, a moment to remember.
The captain removed his lilac playing shirt and passed it over the advertising boards where it was very gratefully received.
A subsequent post on Facebook from the mother of the young girl who had been given the jersey showed just how over the moon she was.
When the content reached Twitter, plenty of fans responded and praised Tavernier for the move.
