Rangers have a number of players out on loan for the 2023/24 campaign. So how are they all getting on away from Ibrox?
Former boss Michael Beale and current manager Philippe Clement sanctioned a whole host of loan exits from Rangers this season.
Eleven Rangers playing personnel are currently gaining experience with other clubs including first-team squad members Ianis Hagi and Sam Lammers.
Now that we are at the business end of the season, we have provided a comprehensive loan report on each player including stats that will be updated accordingly until June. All stats taken from Transfermarkt and FotMob.
Rangers loanees 2023/24
Ianis Hagi (on loan to Deportivo Alaves)

- Appearances: 21
- Goals: 2
- Assists: 1
- FotMob La Liga rating: 6.52
Ianis Hagi was loaned out to La Liga side Deportivo Alaves at the beginning of the season.
However, he has started just six league games and has been an unused substitute in six of the last nine La Liga matches for the club.
He scored twice in one game against Murcia in November but has otherwise failed to make his mark in Spain.
Sam Lammers (on loan to Utrecht)

- Appearances: 8
- Goals: 1
- Assists: 3
- FotMob Eredivisie rating: 7.30
Sam Lammers endured a very underwhelming first six months with Rangers after signing permanently in the summer from Atalanta.
The forward was shipped out to Utrecht in January by Philippe Clement and so far, it’s been the worst of spells for Lammers.
He managed a run of three assists in four games and has played every available minute since his debut bar a game against PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutchman will now be looking to add more goals to his game between now and the end of his loan.
Jose Cifuentes (on loan to Cruzeiro)

- Appearances: 2
- Goals: 0
- Assists: 0
It’s very difficult to judge Jose Cifuentes‘ loan at Cruzeiro given the midfielder has played just two games for his new club.
The Ecuadorian, much like Lammers, did not convince the Rangers fans or manager that he could contribute in the first-team for the rest of the season.
Adam Devine (on loan to Motherwell)

- Appearances: 6
- Goals: 1
- Assists: 1
- FotMob Premiership rating: 6.95
Right-back Adam Devine made the short switch to Motherwell from Rangers in January.
It was clear he wasn’t going to get much game time for Gers behind James Tavernier and Dujon Sterling in the pecking order.
Devine scored on his second game for the Steelmen against Aberdeen and notched an assist in the disappointing Scottish Cup loss to Greenock Morton in February.
Arron Lyall (on loan to Airdrieonians)
- Appearances: 7
- Goals: 0
- Assists: 0
- FotMob Premiership rating: 6.08
20-year-old midfielder Arron Lyle is not long into his loan spell with Scottish Championship outfit Airdrieonians.
He made his debut in the Scottish Cup victory over St Johnstone in January but is yet to register either a goal or an assist for The Diamonds.
Jack Harkness (on loan to Greenock Morton)
- Appearances: 0
Unfortunately, defender Jack Harkness has yet to kick a ball for Morton this season after suffering a hamstring injury just days after his loan from Rangers was sanctioned [Greenock Telegraph].
The issue required surgery and Harkness, as of March 2024, remains out of action.
James Graham (on loan to Dumbarton)
- Appearances: 2
- Goals: 0
- Assists: 0
After a loan stint at Annan Athletic for the first part of the season, forward James Graham was moved to Dumbarton in League Two.
He’s played just two games so far after registering one assist in 13 games for Annan.
Jay Hogarth (on loan to Dumbarton)
- Appearances: 10
- Clean sheets: 3
Goalkeeper Jay Hogarth is also on loan at Dumbarton after joining in January.
He’s been an ever-present for the side having not missed a single minute of action since signing. Positive stuff.
Lewis Budinauckas (on loan to Stranraer)
- Appearances: 22
- Clean sheets: 6
Another Rangers goalkeeper out on loan is Lewis Budinauckas at Stranraer.
He is the League Two side’s first choice between the sticks and captained the club in a 1-0 defeat to Stenhousemuir in January.
Jacob Pazikas (on loan to Civil Service Strollers)
- Appearances: 15
- Clean sheets: 5
Another goalkeeper? Indeed. Young stopper Jacob Pazikas is first choice for Civil Service Strollers in the Lowland League.
His season was disrupted throughout September to November with a finger injury but he recovered and reclaimed his regular spot in the starting XI.
Kristian Webster (on loan to Cumbernauld Colts)
- Appearances: 16
- Goals: 0
- Assists: 0
Defender Kristian Webster is also currently plying his trade on loan in the Lowland League and has been a regular for Cumbernauld Colts.
Webster has been deployed at centre-back and defensive midfield this season.
