Alfredo Morelos has been looking confident up front for Rangers, and he’s confident the team can carry that through to winning trophies.

The young Colombian spoke to Rangers TV in an exclusive interview and revealed his ambitions for the season.

More than that, Morelos said that he’s “100% confident” Rangers can be champions.

The talented striker also spoke of his happiness in Glasgow, and his special relationship with the fans. He described it as “a love” and looked in awe at the reception he’s been receiving.

The interview gave the chance to see another side of Morelos from him on the pitch. He was calm and composed, well-spoken in his native Spanish and full of positivity for the future.

Backroom staff having a great impact

Alfredo Morelos was full of praise too for the backroom staff.

He said they were great players and are great coaches, and he is learning every day from the backroom staff of Gerrard and McAllister.

The Colombian has scored 6 goals in 9 games this season. He is becoming the focal point of the team and was unlucky not to nab one against FC Ufa last night.

Steven Gerrard has reiterated his desire to reward Morelos with an improved contract. There has also been widespread talk of the 22-year-old getting a call up for his native Colombia.
