Senegal international striker Abdallah Sima has pledged that the Rangers team fully understand fan gripes following his latest goal v Livingston.
Netting his fourth goal for Rangers to kick off the 4-0 League Cup win over Livingston, Abdallah Sima spoke to RangersTV after the game.
Explaining that the squad fully understands that recent performances have not been good enough at Ibrox, the Brighton loanee has pledged that things will change for here.
“We understand the fans,” Abdallah Sima said. “They want to see good football and they want to enjoy the games. So we accept that.
“They are special for us. They are always there for us, so we do have this pressure to do well for them. They will have been happy with our performance on Wednesday night, so we have to enjoy this.”

Abdallah Sima fires Rangers past Livingston
The new-look Ibrox squad is the subject of major criticism from the stands in Glasgow as supporters lament a lack of attacking fluency and some poor results already this season.
Defeats to Kilmarnock, PSV Eindhoven and Celtic have handicapped the campaign even at this early stage and after a summer rebuild the squad have it all to do to curry favour with the Rangers support.
One rare bright spark for the club is four-times capped Senegal forward Abdallah Sima, for whom Premier League Brighton paid £7m, with the attacker emerging as an influential player for the team
Also discussing his start to life at Rangers, the Ibrox attacker has said he is relishing the greater amount of opportunities to score he’s getting at Ibrox.

“It is easier when you play with a big team because I get more chances and I am happy to be scoring some of them,” said Sima.
“I hope I can keep pushing to get more. With this team and the quality it has in it, it’s going to be easier for a striker to score goals.
“That’s why I joined this club. We are happy now, after the Livingston game, and we just have to keep working hard and keep going.”
Abdallah Sima has made 12 appearances since joining Rangers on loan for the season in the summer, with the strike v Livingston his fourth goal for the club.
