When Graham Dorrans signed for Rangers in the summer of 2017, he looked like a shrewd addition alongside players like Ryan Jack, Bruno Alves and Alfredo Morelos.
The experienced playmaker had enjoyed a successful career in England with much of his time spent in the Premier League, that he was a fan of the club was only going to strengthen the dressing room.
Unfortunately, injury all but ended Graham Dorrans’ career at Rangers before it really got off the ground but a post on X shows that he is still getting to experience the highs of senior football – albeit in an arena that is a far cry from Ibrox.

Graham Dorrans in post-Rangers renaissance
Signed as part of Pedro Caixinha’s rebuild, it’s only a shame that a manager like Steven Gerrard or Philippe Clement didn’t have a player like him at their disposal.
With five goals and four assists in just 23 appearances, Dorrans was clearly a player who could have contributed under Gerrard but his injury problems meant that a career at the elite level was all but over.
Spells in Australia and in Scotland’s second tier saw him continue to play into his 30s before ending up in the most unlikely of places.
At 36-years old and with a body that has been under the knife more than most, you would expect someone who will have been paid handsomely throughout his career to maybe take it easy.
There can’t be many players in the West of Scotland League in double figures for international caps and with 250 appearances between England’s top two leagues – most of them (over 140) in the Premier League.
The buzz of playing can never be replaced though and the Rangers TV pundit will have loved every second of scoring his penalty in Johnstone Burgh’s penalty win over St Cadoc’s YC in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Junior Cup.
It might not be scoring for Rangers, however, given how much time was taken from him, Graham Dorrans will be appreciating it every bit as much.
