Summer Rangers signing Bongani Zungu has been pictured in training ahead of the club’s Europa League clash with Portguuese giants Benfica.
The South African international midfielder joined the club on deadline day in a last-minute loan-to-buy deal with reports suggesting Rangers will need to pay £2.7m to make the move permanent.

Zungu, 28, has had to wait for his Rangers debut after joining from Amiens in early October, with the player only moving to the UK and coming out of a two-week quarantine little over a week ago.
Now, Zungu was pictured as Rangers practised ahead of the club’s trip to the Estadio de Luz to play Benfica.
Since joining up with his teammates Zungu has had to watch on from the sidelines as Rangers have picked up 1-0 and 2-0 wins against Lech Poznan and Kilmarnock respectively.
After Benfica splashed out close to £90m on the summer the match with the Europa League Group D leaders promises to be Rangers’ biggest test of the season.
Both Rangers and Benfica have started their Europa League campaigns with two wins out of two matches with both sides set to play out a double-header in the next two matches.

The match could prove to be a pivotal one in the race for supremacy in Group D and after being registered for the club’s Euro squad, could Zungu make his Rangers’ debut in this crunch clash?
The midfielder was an unused substitute as Rangers defeated Lech Poznan in the club’s last Europa League match.
