England and Newcastle United Kieran Trippier has been praising the man management qualities of Sean Dyche as Rangers fans muse over the former Burnley boss.
Current Gers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst is a man under pressure as the Ibrox side fall nine points behind Celtic in the title race and try to recover from the worst-ever Champions League Group Stage performance.

It’s led to plenty of calls for the manager’s head and whilst Rangers appear to be backing their man, Sean Dyche is one name repeatedly mentioned by fans.
Now, Kieran Trippier has been talking about the manager, whom he worked with for three years at Burnley, and the £12m Newcastle man has immediately pointed to the coach’s man management.
This will be music to the ears of Rangers fans who have already given up on Gio and who believe Sean Dyche is the man to add bite and belief back into a confidence-sapped Ibrox side.
Kieran Trippier praises “brilliant” Rangers-linked Sean Dyche
“He was just a brilliant manager for Burnley and his record speaks for itself,” said Trippier [Under the Cosh].
“To be fair, he had no budget there as well. The players we signed were either free transfers or a couple of hundred grand.
“The year we got promoted, I think we spent about £500,000 and that was on Ashley Barnes.
“But with that team spirit we had, our team might not have been as good as the Leicesters or whoever, but we had that togetherness and that takes you even further.”
The England international has worked for some top coaches in the game and it speaks volumes that Kieran Trippier is talking so highly about Sean Dyche.
Rangers boss Van Bronckhorst might still be in charge, but the ex-Watford manager is a genuinely interesting option should the club seek a change.
Besides, it’s genuinely quite interesting what Sean Dyche has had to say about the job himself.
