Tom English has slammed Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez for his antics in the Scottish Cup final defeat against Celtic.
The Gers got knocked out in the quarter-finals after losing to their arch rivals Celtic on penalties at Ibrox.
Following the shootout, chaos ensued, and a number of arrests have been made as well.

Tom English believes Emmanuel Fernandez was trying to con the officials
In the 11th minute of extra time, the ball hit Fernandez and found its way into the back of the net.
This saw the defender celebrating with the Rangers fans as it appeared like he had scored the winner for his team.
Footage shows that while Fernandez was brought down inside the penalty area, the ball clearly struck his arm.
However, under the laws of the game, the goal was rightly disallowed as it made contact with his hand and that led to it going into the back of the net.
English wrote in the BBC: “Emmanuel Fernandez pretended he did when scoring 11 minutes into extra time. He wheeled away after the ball hit the back of the Celtic net, saluting the fans, applauding their support as he drank in the acclaim.
“It was all a con. Fernandez scored all right, but it came off his left hand. Claiming it as legitimate was a desperate act of a desperate man in a desperate team.”

Does Fernandez start for Rangers against St Mirren?
Danny Rohl brought in Nasser Djiga to play alongside Fernandez against Celtic on Sunday, and the team kept a clean sheet.
He may want to pick the same defence against St Mirren on Sunday as the Gers are desperate for a win and defensive solidity.
John Souttar has struggled recently, and it makes sense to keep him on the bench for the next few games if Djiga continues to perform.

Rohl will want Djiga and Fernandez to develop a good understanding of playing next to each other, so there is a chance that they will start at Paisley this weekend.
The Gers supporters will be expecting a response from this one as they have seen plenty of underwhelming displays in recent weeks.
The Scottish Premiership is now the club’s only chance of winning silverware this season, but there is a six-point deficit that needs to be overcome first.
