Rangers matchwinner Todd Cantwell refused to put a label on the club’s stunning Premiership victory over Aberdeen.
The Gers held out for a 2-1 win over the Dons at Ibrox to go level on points with Old Firm rivals Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
Todd Cantwell was central to the victory, the Rangers playmaker once again putting in a superb performance for the Ibrox side.
Scoring what proved to be the winner in the game, Cantwell was also talking to Sky Sports come full-time.
Todd Cantwell shifts focus after Aberdeen win
Asked if he felt that the win over Aberdeen could be a potentially crucial one in the title race, Todd Cantwell refused to give any soundbites.
Instead seeking to praise his team and the “togetherness” in the Rangers camp, it’s clear the focus is just on building one game at a time.
“We don’t know, we don’t know,” said Cantwell. “It’s a long season.
“We said before the game we were looking at just taking every game as they come and that doesn’t change after it.
“I thought we were really good in the first half, I think we were a big unlucky to go in 1-1.
“The message was to go out and to keep doing what we’re doing and I think it paid off in the end.
“I think there’s a right togetherness in the group and I’m enjoying the games.”
Rangers matchwinner growing by the game
That’s six for the season for Todd Cantwell with the strike against Aberdeen potentially set to be his most important for Rangers yet.
With momentum building in Govan, Rangers had to overcome their issues with Aberdeen on league duties this season in the 2-1 victory.
Having already dropped five points to the Dons this campaign, surrendering any more to the Pittodrie club threatened to provide a much-needed boost across the city ahead of their trip to Hibs.

But up popped Todd Cantwell to secure the three points and it’s clear the Rangers squad won’t be getting carried away with the victory over Aberdeen.
Here’s five things we learned on a huge night in Scottish football.
