Rangers need big performances if they are to get something from today’s Old Firm at Ibrox. While the rest of the side have struggle for goals, one man, Alfredo Morelos, continues to shine.
His confident finish against Hibs, on Boxing Day, brought him to 20 goals in all competitions this season, 12 of which have come in the league.

He is the talisman, the player all the others look to for quality in the final third.
However, he is yet to show what he is capable of in an Old Firm game.
Since arriving at Ibrox in June 2017, he has featured in several showpiece matches, but is yet to make his mark.
He has squandered major chances in fixtures at both Ibrox and Parkhead.

That simply has to change today.
As the manager freely admits, he is carrying too much responsibility in this Rangers team at the minute.
Yet, the Colombian seems to thrive on the pressure.
If a big chance comes his way today, it’s vital that he grabs it.
Ibrox will be bouncing from the start and if Rangers can notch an early goal, it will be difficult for Celtic to change the momentum amidst such a partisan atmosphere.

Morelos holds the key. Rangers need one last push from their main man before a lengthy rest.
Can he deliver?
