As Jon Bon Jovi famously sang at Ibrox a couple of decades ago “we’re halfway there” with Barry Ferguson looking to guide his Rangers team past Fenerbahce.

The quarter-finals are a competent 90 minutes away and the luck of the draw sees a potential tie with Roma reversed in the Light Blues’ favour.

Chickens won’t be getting counted yet though with Jose Mourinho in the other dugout and anything being possible under the Portuguese legend’s leadership.

Rangers will need to match Fenerbahce’s dark arts as well as being confident in their own ability.

This is the confirmed team news for Rangers as Fenerbahce come to Ibrox looking to overcome a 3-1 deficit.

Rangers team news confirmed vs Fenerbahce

Ferguson has an almost fully fit squad after seeing Robin Propper return to training.

Oscar Cortes isn’t in the Europa League squad, but aside from this, Rangers are at full strength.

In Turkey, the Rangers manager went with Ridvan Yilmaz on his “wrong” side, however, with Dujon Sterling fully fit, he has decided to make a change.

The back three that finished the job in the first leg have been trusted to start given how good a job they made of handling Edin Dzeko and Dusan Tadic with Jefte keeping his place on the left.

Ferguson keeps faith with Rangers’ attack

Midfield offered protection in defence and got Rangers on the front foot on the counter-attack too with one of the most balanced displays of the season.

This means that Ianis Hagi and Nedim Bajrami miss out again, but they provide quality options from the bench.

Given how well they linked in attack in Istanbul, the pairing of Vaclav Cerny and Cyriel Dessers will be hoping that they can have a similar impact with both Hamza Igamane and Danilo offering real depth if a change or fresh legs are needed.
