Rangers will be absolutely desperate to make amends for their soul-destroying defeat to arch-rivals Celtic before the international break.
Philippe Clement made that assertion at his press conference, saying he wished the next game was three days after the Parkhead embarrassment as opposed to two weeks.
But the weekend is finally here and Clement admitted he has a few late calls to make with regards to his team selection against Dundee United at Tannadice.
Clement will opt for his 4-2-3-1 formation as always but who will replace Rabbi Matondo on the left wing? Will Jefte play there and young Robbie Fraser behind him at left-back?
Clement also has deadline day addition Nedim Bajrami at his disposal and the Albanian is capable playing off the left-hand side.
Elsewhere, there have been shouts for Leon Balogun to return to the starting line-up in place of Robin Propper. Will Clement really drop the Dutchman on Sunday?
Nedim Bajrami handed Rangers debut from start
Clement insisted that a decision on whether Bajrami plays a part versus the Arabs would be made on Saturday and we think the 25-year-old will replace the injured Matondo.
As stated, Robbie Fraser could fill in at left-back to allow Jefte a chance on the left wing again but it would be a bold call from the manager.
James Tavernier is a certainty to start despite a torrid couple of weeks for the skipper. Propper will play alongside John Souttar with Balogun rooted to the bench.
Tom Lawrence will likely resume his role as the central attacking midfielder although he could be on the bench if Clement plays Bajrami in his more familiar position with Jefte and Fraser also in from the start.
