Rangers might be short of bodies in forward areas, however, in midfield, there is some serious competition for places, especially between the likes of Nicolas Raskin and Dujon Sterling.
John Lundstram is back to his best and pulling the strings with Todd Cantwell pushed higher up the park, Gers boss Philippe Clement is clearly looking to find the right combination with more options than he has had in his squad before.

Raskin has been at the club for a year now since his £2m move from Standard Liege and has already experienced several highs and lows of life at Rangers.
Compare this to 24-year old Sterling’s time at Ibrox and it is an interesting comparison between the two.
The Belgian youth international was clearly a long-term target and, even being secured on a cut-price deal, has high expectations.
We know what he is capable of so, because he has such a high ceiling, whenever he dips in standard, it is easy to see why there might be calls for him to be replaced.
What doesn’t help his cause is that Sterling has emerged from absolutely nowhere as a defensive midfielder and been an absolute tour de force.
The second-half for Rangers against Hibs saw him in the right place at the right time to pick up what felt like every second ball.
He keeps it simple, takes one or two touches and moves the ball forward.
As a converted full-back too, he is more than happy to dribble the ball out of danger.
Raskin has gradually looked sharper but, with Sterling putting in displays like he did in the second-half at Easter Road, there should only be one name on the team-sheet alongside John Lundstram.
Unfortunately for Raskin, at this moment in time, it isn’t his.
