Rangers fans have responded on social media after the Gers’ starting XI was confirmed for Wednesday night’s Premiership clash against St Johnstone [Rangers FC Twitter].
The sides are facing off at McDiarmid Park, with Rangers looking to keep their unbeaten record in the league intact and to push on towards a tally of 100 points for the season.

Callum Davidson’s Saints will be no pushovers, though, having won four of their last five matches in all competitions, conceding only one goal in that time.
Ahead of the game, Steven Gerrard had no fresh injury concerns, while the lack of a verdict from the Covid Five appeal hearing ensured that Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey and Bongani Zungu were all available for selection.
In all, the manager has made a whopping seven changes from the side that defeated Celtic 2-0 in the Scottish Cup at Ibrox on Sunday.
Jon McLaughlin replaces Allan McGregor in goal, while only Connor Goldson and Borna Barisic retain their spots in the back four, with James Tavernier and Jack Simpson coming in for Nathan Patterson and Filip Helander respectively.
In midfield, Steven Davis and Glen Kamara keep their places, but Scott Arfield has dropped out, with Ianis Hagi coming into the side, possibly to play as a no.10 in a 4-2-3-1 system.

Meanwhile, it’s all change out wide and up front, with Joe Aribo, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos all making way for Scott Wright, Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten.
Will this team be strong enough to secure all three points?
Plenty of supporters were delighted to see Tavernier return from injury, Simpson and Wright receive their first Premiership starts and Hagi and Itten be given opportunities in key positions.
