Rangers fans could single out any of the ten Ibrox Spartans who stood up to the test of Athletic Club in a frenetic Europa League affair at Ibrox.
Rangers held Athletic Club to a 0-0 draw despite Robin Propper being shown a red card in the 13th minute and the Gers having to play over 80 minutes with ten men.
Liam Kelly also saved a penalty with his outstretched foot to keep Rangers well in the tie ahead of next week’s trip to Bilbao in the quarter final second leg.
But whilst there’s plenty of Rangers stars who deserve credit for digging deep and securing a Europa League result against the Spaniards, one in particular is being lavished with praise online.

Rangers fans single out Ianis Hagi v Athletic Club
Barry Ferguson promised changes heading into the Europa League clash with Athletic Club and the Rangers legend delivered ahead of the game.
Ferguson’s decision to start Liam Kelly grabbed headlines whilst Rangers also started the match with teenage midfielder Bailey Rice.
But Ianis Hagi’s starting berth went a little under the radar in Glasgow as the Romanian midfielder was given the nod in place of the suspended Mohamed Diomande.
In an all-action display, Hagi epitomised the aggression and commitment that was necessary from Rangers in order to secure a Europa League result.
Ianis Hagi was also lauded by supporters come the full-time whistle.
One fan claims Hagi was ‘class tonight for the team’ and added that the Romanian put in ‘some shift’ in Glasgow.
Another supporter labelled the midfielder ‘brilliant’ and claimed that Hagi’s effort has ‘kept us in the tie’ ahead of next week’s trip to Spain.
This supporter somewhat sums up the sentiment with Hagi proving that he is still fully committed to the Rangers cause.
Barry Ferguson hails ‘proper Rangers performance’
Barry Ferguson claims his team put in a ‘proper Rangers performance’ after going down to 10 men against Athletic Club.
The interim Rangers manager asked his players for a response after the 2-0 defeat to Hibs and Ferguson insists he got it in the paired 0-0 draw at Ibrox.
”That was a proper Rangers performance,” Ferguson told TNT Sports. “Especially going down to ten men.
”Then you wonder how we’re going to react and that’s the reaction that I wanted.
”That’s what I spoke about on Monday and certainly the players tonight showed a performance full of heart, grit and determination and that’s what I asked at the start of the game and they certainly showed me that.”
