Rangers fans who were angry with manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the week have been handed a major Aaron Ramsey boost ahead of the clash with Braga.
The Gers currently trail 1-0 from the first leg of their Europa League quarter final with the Portuguese club and van Bronckhorst came in for criticism for dropping the Welsh international.

Rangers looked lacklustre in Braga and lacked cutting edge and goalscoring threat, something Aaron Ramsey generally provides from midfield.
These complaints intensified at full-time when van Bronckhorst explained that Aaron Ramsey was fit but had been rotated out for the clash because the Gers have a “big squad” [Scotsman].

Amid injuries to John Lundstram and Filip Helander in the match, Gers fans were nervously awaiting the justification for the sub come full-time.
But after the game van Bronckhorst revealed Aaron Ramsey and Ryan Kent were subbed to keep them fresh for the visit of Braga on Thursday, as Rangers set their sights on the semi-final.
“Halftime is the moment where you can make changes without using your spot so that’s why we took off Kent and Ramsey to give them rest and give other players minutes,” van Bronckhorst told Sky Sports.
Journalist Jonny McFarlane also claims that van Bronckhorst confirmed Aaron Ramsey was taken off to protect him for the visit of Braga.
It promises to be a massive match for everyone involved and whilst Rangers fans might’ve grumbled about Aaron Ramsey not being involved in the first leg, it appears he’s ready for the second.
