Philippe Clement certainly appears to have enjoyed lifting the League Cup with Rangers as clips emerge of the club’s manager celebrating at New Edmiston House.

The Gers invited supporters back to the grounds of Ibrox Stadium to revel in the League Cup Final victory after James Tavernier’s solitary goal overcame Aberdeen at Hampden.

And the Rangers manager was clipped waving the trophy to supporters from the balcony of New Edmiston House as he revelled in his first trophy win at Ibrox manager.

Philippe Clement soaks up League Cup celebrations

In a clip shared on X, Rangers manager Philippe Clement can clearly be seen waving the League Cup trophy at supporters from the balcony of New Edmiston House.

This follows on from jubilant scenes at Hampden, where the Rangers manager was clipped waving the famous trophy at travelling Ibrox supporters.

League Cup sponsors ViaPlay also shared a clip of the Rangers boss running across the Hampden pitch with the trophy as Philippe Clement’s team celebrated a much-anticipated victory.

Taking to social media in the aftermath of the League Cup win, Philippe Clement also expressed his pride in Rangers claiming the trophy.

“Scottish League Cup Winners!” Clement said. “This is what it means, this is what we live for!

“So proud to win my first prize with this beautiful club. Let’s keep going, together!”

Later, the Rangers manager shared a clip of himself celebrating and added: “What a feeling to win my first prize with Rangers FC.”

Rangers win over Aberdeen just the start

Lifting the League Cup means it’s one from one for Philippe Clement at Rangers with attentions quickly turning to the rest of the season at Ibrox.

The Gers are competing on four fronts with expectations rising across them as the Rangers juggernaut gathers momentum and those around the club begin to crack.

But when pressed on a a focus shift, Philippe Clement told a ViaPlay panel which included ex-Rangers players Scott Arfield, Derek McInnes, Ally McCoist and Billy Dodds that today was just about enjoying the victory.

Going by the celebrations of Rangers manager Philippe Clement at Hampden and at New Edmiston House, that’s precisely what the Belgian is doing.
