Kris Boyd was visibly irritated on Sky Sports after what one Rangers star did against Celtic in the Old Firm.
Philippe Clement’s 10-man side lost 2-1 to the Hoops at Parkhead, with a number of decisions going against Rangers on the day.
But Celtic were more clinical and were able to take their chances, unlike a very wasteful Rangers. Paulo Bernardo and Kyogo scored for them, with James Tavernier netting a sensational consolation free-kick.
There was still time to get a leveller after that strike but after 100 minutes of play, Gers fell to defeat in the east end of Glasgow.
But it could have been all so different if it wasn’t for the indecisiveness of Cyriel Dessers with the score at 1-0 to Celtic in the first-half, which really irritated former Ibrox striker Boyd.
Dessers hesitancy irritates Kris Boyd

Dessers managed to find himself through on goal after beating Stephen Welsh to the ball. But the Nigerian looked so hesitant when facing up against Joe Hart and in the end, he didn’t even get a shot away.
Alistair Johnston managed to close Dessers down and shrug him off the ball, which ended up in Joe Hart’s hands.
In his half-time assessment of the incident, Kris Boyd was exasperated by the fact Dessers couldn’t get his shot away despite having so much time to do so. A goal then would have changed the complexion of the game.
Boyd told Sky Sports: “There’s just no excuse, you’ve got to get your shot away as soon as you’re there.
“He takes too many touches but there’s not one touch to get it out of his feet and get a shot away, it’s really poor.
“You’ve got to give Alistair Johnston some credit for getting back. The thing is, as a striker, you’re not passing that to anyone.
“You should get it out your feet and get your shot away, there is no excuse.”
