Former Rangers captain Lee McCulloch has given his scoreline for St Johnstone vs Rangers this weekend.
The Light Blues are absolutely flying at the moment and are looking to win an eighth straight competitive fixture since the winter break restart on Sunday.
Rangers are now level on points with Celtic in the Scottish Premiership title race with only goals scored separating the two arch-rivals.
The Hoops lie in first at the moment but things can now change very quickly week by week. They play Kilmarnock at home on Saturday which won’t be the easiest of games.
While Rangers visit 10th-placed St Johnstone who have steadied under Craig Levein but are still in danger of relegation this season to the Championship.
Lee McCulloch was speaking on The Football Show on PLZ Soccer to preview the Rangers clash in Perth but first spoke about the title race and reserved special praise for Philippe Clement.

Lee McCulloch makes Rangers prediction
McCulloch said of the title race: “It’s absolutely brilliant for the neutral, one goal in it. If we’re talking two and a half months ago, we’re saying Celtic are going to do it and it’s a foregone conclusion.
“I think the full momentum shift has went the opposite way and now Rangers are looking as if they are getting better and better, they were really good against Ross County.
“And Celtic are now looking like they need to just get to the Old Firm game without dropping a point to leave them a chance of again getting that gap.
“But Rangers just need to keep winning and obviously so do Celtic. It’s alright getting a manager bounce and going on a run, it’s sustaining that run.
“I think the manager deserves all of the credit, dealing with a lot of the players that he didn’t sign when he first came in. They were low in confidence and looking like they weren’t going to make an impact.
“Clement’s came in and he’s rejuvenated, gave them confidence and brought the fans back to really make Ibrox a fortress again.
“Tough game on Sunday but I think they’ll have enough. St Johnstone will sit tight but Rangers have a lot of pace out wide and (Cyriel) Dessers who is flying just now, another one who was getting a helluva lot of stick.
“He’s proved he can get in amongst the goals. His movement is really good and is the third-top goalscorer in the league so yeah, I think it will be 3-1 Rangers.”
