James Tavernier continued his fine form with a stunning finish to cap off a comfortable 3-0 Scottish Premiership victory for Rangers against Ross County.
Rangers have struggled in Dingwall at times over the years but produced a comfortable display where the club kept a clean sheet and scored three goals.
Hamza Igamane and Danilo had Rangers 2-0 in front in the first half before James Tavernier popped up to produce a rasping finish to round of the scoring.
It was no less than the Ibrox skipper deserved after an impressive second half display which backed up recent showings against St Johnstone and Kilmarnock.
Speaking after the victory, Rangers captain Tavernier has also revealed exactly what he said to Romanian playmaker Ianis Hagi before rasping the shot home.

”I’m delighted to be on the scoresheet again,” Tavernier told Sky Sports. “If I can help the team I will.
”But just more delighted that we kept the clean sheet and we managed the game.
“I shouted to Ianis ‘it’s mine’ so obviously I got a clean strike and it went in the back of the net, so I’m happy for it.
”It puts us in good confidence. We know it’s going to be another challenge against Tottenham. We’ve got to be really at it.
“Home game, we’ve got to take advantage of that but yeah, go into that game, prepare really well, recover really well and obviously try to take the three points in that game.”
Rangers captain reflects on ‘important week’
James Tavernier has also been reflecting on an impressive week for Rangers which has relieved the pressure on manager Philippe Clement.
The Rangers captain has been reinstated to the Ibrox first-team and grabbed that opportunity with both hands, playing a crucial role in Jason Holt’s decisive own goal in the 1-0 win away to St Johnstone.
Tavernier then followed that up with the opening goal in the 6-0 Scottish Premiership romp over Kilmarnock and by the match is looking more and more like his old self.
Reflecting on a positive week for the Rangers team, Tavernier insists that the club needs to keep building forward with even bigger challenges on the horizon.
”It’s been an important week,” said Tavernier. “Three clean sheets, ten goals.
”It was important to come up here and put in a performance.
“First half we got a couple of goals but we knew we could’ve raised the levels, especially in the final third.
”Credit it to the whole team. We defended really well, kept a clean sheet and obviously got three points, that’s the main thing.
”That’s what we’re trying to aim for. Trying to limit opportunities for the other team.
”I felt like we’ve done really well this week doing that, we’ve just got to continue it.”
