Rangers and injuries are a combination that has been as prevalent as Rangers and trophies used to be in recent years.
The Ibrox injury curse has hit more than a few strikers and new signings don’t seem to be able to avoid the hex either.
Barry Ferguson has an almost fully fit Rangers squad for the trip to Dundee, however, the home side could be without one of their most productive attackers.
Controversially, since signing on a pre-contract agreement, Lyall Cameron could be about to miss his second game against his future employers.
Speaking ahead of the clash at the Scot Foam Stadium, Dundee boss Tony Docherty has given a worrying update on Rangers’ January signing.

Lyall Cameron missing for Dundee vs Rangers
Dundee have caused Rangers problems already this season, but it looks like they will have to cope without a player who has 10 goals and eight assists:
“He felt his hamstring so we have to wait and see what it shows up,” said Docherty.
“It’s a bit of a shock that one and it came right at the end of the training session.
“It was just a tweak so finger-crossed he will be OK. He’s been feeling better today.
“We’ll just have to wait and see what the scan says because you never know with these ones until they take a look at it.”
What is Cameron’s injury history like?
Normally, players wait until they are through the gates at Auchenhowie before they report for duty in the treatment room.
Of course, it could just be that Docherty is protecting Cameron and that the tweak is more of a mental, rather than physical complaint.
The Rangers midfield is already an area of the pitch that needs more players who are resilient and capable of playing 50 or more games a season.
Cameron has never been injury prone or suffered any serious injuries before, however, neither were Danilo or Oscar Cortés, and we’ve all seen what has happened to them since signing on the dotted line.
