Rangers boss Philippe Clement believes that his side fully deserved to snatch a Champions League draw against Dynamo Kiev.
The Ibrox manager is smiling after Cyriel Dessers popped up in the final minute of the game to cancel out Andriy Yarmolenko’s first half opener and snatch a 1-1 draw.
The result sets up next week’s return at Hampden very nicely and Philippe Clement has been speaking to RangersTV after the match.
Touching on his team’s performance, the Belgian boss also has a message for Rangers supporters ahead of Dynamo Kiev visiting Scotland next week.

Rangers fans urged ‘blow the roof off Hampden’
Heading into a season of substantial change, news that Rangers’ proposed revamp of Ibrox Stadium was to be delayed obviously didn’t go down well with fans.
With Rangers now set to controversially use Hampden Park in the meantime, it’ll be Scotland’s national stadium which welcomes Dynamo Kiev next week.
And following the 1-1 Champions League draw with Ukrainians, Philippe Clement has urged the Rangers support to get behind the team in Glasgow and ‘blow the roof’ off Hampden Park.
”It’s a team with a lot of qualities like they showed against Partizan with this 9-2,” said Clement.
“I think in the phase we are in with the rebuild and what the players are showing it’s again the step forward that I wanted.
“It’s a really important result and I hope the fans go behind these players so hard that next week they can make so much noise to push us over to quality.
“That they can make so much noise that the roof comes off of Hampden Park instead of Ibrox.”
Clement ‘satisfied’ with Kiev result
Whilst Philippe Clement has been full of praise for his Rangers charges, the Ibrox manager hasn’t missed the chance to talk up Dynamo Kiev.
The Ukrainians humbled Serbian outfit Partizan in Champions League QR2 to set up the tie with Rangers at this stage.
Clement believes that the fact Rangers snatched a draw with Kiev is a source of satisfaction given the quality of the opposition.
“Yous see it’s a really good team,” said Clement. “They’ve been playing four, five years together so they have a lot of automatism.
“So in that way I am really satisfied with how the team is reacting already in this short time together to do a lot of things right.
“Of course we can do several things better still and that’s to work on now this coming week towards this game.”
Rangers welcome Dynamo Kiev to Ibrox on Tuesday 13th August with kick off set for 7:45pm BST at Hampden Stadium.
