Rangers will do battle with Celtic for the second time this season as Philippe Clement and his charges gear up for the traditional New Year derby.
It will be the Belgian’s first taste of the Old Firm since replacing Michael Beale, who couldn’t get anything out of the disappointing meeting with the Hoops at Ibrox in September.
But Gers are a completely different proposition to three months ago. Despite a monumental spate of injuries, Clement has revitalised the squad and already has one of the three domestic trophies on offer this season.
He can turbocharge Rangers’ assault on the Scottish Premiership title at Celtic Park this weekend with a victory, which would lift us two points behind them with two games in hand.
Unfortunately, no Rangers supporters will be present at the stadium to cheer on the lads so it will be a difficult one, despite Celtic’s sketchy form.
Here is how you can watch Celtic vs Rangers on TV, as well as the latest team news and our score prediction.

Rangers team news and injuries
Philippe Clement was quizzed on the fitness of defenders Connor Goldson and Borna Barisic, as well as midfielder John Lundstram ahead of the derby.
The boss didn’t want to give too much away to the press and simply reported that Goldson had trained, as well as some others who have been out injured.
It’s positive to hear that Goldson was out on the grass after picking up a groin strain in the Christmas Eve win over Motherwell.
Definitely unavailable for tomorrow will be longer term absentees Danilo, Tom Lawrence, Kemar Roofe and Nicolas Raskin. As for the rest, we’ll just have to see.
Prediction: Celtic 0-1 Rangers

We understand it’s a bold prediction, but it represents where both teams are at just now.
Celtic have lost two of their last four top-flight games and haven’t been this poor going into an Old Firm for a good while now.
The momentum is firmly with Rangers at present, who are still unbeaten under the tutelage of Philippe Clement. The Ibrox giants have also had an extra period of rest to recharge the batteries after Christmas, with Celtic playing as recently as Boxing Day.
A draw would go down absolutely fine with Rangers fans, but a sneaky 1-0 victory is what we’ll go for. No reason not to be optimistic.
