St Johnstone are set to be without Glenn Middleton for their upcoming fixtures against Rangers due to a clause in his loan agreement.
Middleton joined the Saints in January on a temporary deal until the end of the season and he’s since made eight appearances, while he scored the goal that secured their place in the top six.

The pacy attacker has been used increasingly regularly by manager Callum Davidson, who has already suggested that he would like to extend Middleton’s loan agreement into next season [Scottish Sun].
The Scotland youth international started St Johnstone’s first post-split fixture against Hibernian and came off the bench in their 2-0 win over Clyde in the Scottish Cup at the weekend.
He won’t be available to face his parent club at McDiarmid Park on Wednesday night in the Premiership, though, nor will he feature in Sunday’s Scottish Cup quarter-final between the two sides at Ibrox.
That’s due to a clause inserted into his loan agreement which renders him ineligible to face the Gers.

It’s a blow for the Saints, given that Middleton is a dangerous player in the final third, and Davidson will have a spot to fill in his squad for both matches.
Rangers will be targeting two victories, as they continue their quest to go the entire Premiership season unbeaten and also look to move closer to a first Scottish Cup triumph since 2009.
Steven Gerrard may hand a first-ever Premiership start to an exciting talent on Wednesday night, after a hint in Tuesday’s press conference.
