Rangers are taking on Motherwell in the early kick-off in the cinch Premiership on Sunday and we’ve put together a Predicted XI for the game.
The Gers will travel to Fir Park looking to get back to winning ways after dropping points at home in midweek.
The hosts have lost three of their last four in the league but they’ll take confidence from their draw at Ibrox earlier in the season and will fancy their chances on their home patch.
Steven Gerrard’s options are limited due to a number of injuries to key players, but we expect him to make four changes to the side that drew 2-2 with Aberdeen.
The first predicted alteration is in goal, with Allan McGregor coming in for Jon McLaughlin.
James Tavernier, Connor Goldson and Calvin Bassey are all likely to continue in defence, but Leon Balogun could drop out for Jack Simpson.
Simpson hasn’t established himself yet at Ibrox but Balogun has played eight club games in a row and turned out twice for Nigeria since he was last rested, and Gerrard can’t afford to push him too hard with Filip Helander’s return still a long way off.
In midfield, John Lundstram could drop out for Steven Davis after a disappointing showing against the Dons, with Scott Arfield possibly also coming in for a first Premiership start of the season.
Glen Kamara is likely to keep his place, with Joe Aribo potentially pushing forward to one of the inside forward slots.
Kemar Roofe could make way for Aribo after an off-colour display against Aberdeen, with Ianis Hagi and Alfredo Morelos staying in the team.
