Just hours after Rangers recorded a resounding win over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup, attentions turned back to the SPL.
During a press conference followed by the Rangers Twitter account, Steven Gerrard provided his customary injury update.
Fortunately, it was all positive ahead of the trip to Hamilton.

“No fresh injury news”, said Gerrard, as quoted by the club’s Twitter account.
There had been concerns over the fitness Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack ahead of Wednesday night’s replay.

However, this confirms that both players have emerged unscathed.
Arfield was replaced by Steven Davis after 73 minutes, while Jack lasted the full 90.

“It’s pleasing to see Jamie Murphy back kicking balls, but it will be the final few games of the season before he can potentially return”, Gerrard added.
The manager also confirmed that Allan McGregor is in contention having served a two-match violent conduct ban.

Despite all that positive news, one negative cloud lingers over squad availability.
Wednesday night’s four goal hero, Alfredo Morelos, is suspended.

He serves the third and final game of a ban, after his red card at Aberdeen.
Nonetheless, the Gers will be looking to take confidence from the 5-0 win, into Sunday’s early kick off.
