Wales manager Rob Page has handed Rangers a major Aaron Ramsey fitness boost ahead of the Ibrox club’s clash with Old Firm rivals Celtic.
The Gers are set to welcome their age-old rivals to Ibrox this weekend in a must-win Scottish Premiership clash that can close the three-point gap at the top of the table.

This would mean Rangers and Celtic would be level on points heading into the final six games of the season and the momentum would somewhat swing towards Ibrox.
Juventus loanee Aaron Ramsey was signed for these exact types of occasions and over the last few weeks has been steadily getting himself back to fitness.
Plagued by injuries over the last few seasons, Aaron Ramsey had fitness issues in his first few weeks at Rangers but managed to get himself fit enough to play for Wales against Austria.
Wales manager hints Aaron Ramsey to be rested in Rangers fitness boost
On a famous night in Cardiff, Aaron Ramsey completed 90 minutes and Gareth Bale netted a double to get Wales into the Playoff final for a spot at Qatar 2022.
Gers fans would’ve been happy to see the ex-Arsenal star get more minutes under his belt but nervous about overloading the player at this stage of the season.
But worry not Rangers supporters as Rob Page claimed that he will not be putting his team through the wringer again as the Welsh national team welcome the Czech Republic in a friendly.
“We have got to be sensible. We’ve got a duty of care to the players,” said Page [Daily Record].
“I’m not going to punish the players again by giving them another 90 minutes against a very good team.
“It’s a great opportunity now because it’s a friendly game and we can use that to our benefit.

“We can give some of the younger players an opportunity to gain international experience and minutes on the pitch. There will be changes made, absolutely.”
That sounds promising with regards Aaron Ramsey as he works his way back from fitness and Rangers fans will be expecting the midfielder is ready for the visit of Celtic.
Meanwhile, Rangers have been praised by a £56m global superstar as he sends out a message to an audience of 29.3m.
