Gerrard’s side are on a six-game winning streak and are looking to win all five post-split fixtures for the first time.

Meanwhile, Killie are looking for three points which could tie up third spot.

Ahead of the game, two first-teamers were ruled out.

Scott Arfield and Nikola Katic have both been granted time off ahead of international duty this summer.

Daniel Candeias replaces Arfield, while Joe Worrall partners Connor Goldson.

Jon Flanagan starts, after his two-match violent conduct ban was recently overturned [Evening Express]. He switches to right back, as James Tavernier is rested and Borna Barisic comes in.

Elsewhere, Steven Gerrard had a big decision to make up front. The manager opted for Alfredo Morelos over Jermain Defoe, who has been in fine form of late.

If he scores today, Morelos will be the first Rangers striker since Kris Boyd to score 30 goals in a season.

Steven Davis also drops out for Andy Halliday, while Wes Foderingham continues in place of the suspended Allan McGregor.

A possible debut is on the cards later in the day, as Dapo Mebude makes the bench.
