Kenny Miller picks out Rangers' four key players for Celtic clash

Kenny Miller has spoken to BBC Sport ahead of this weekend’s Old Firm.
The last time Rangers won at Parkhead, way back in 2010, it was thanks to his brace.

Now, the current crop attempt to stop a run which has stretched on for too long.
He believes the Gers have a good chance but it will come down to four key players stepping up to the plate.
“Alredo Morelos is having an outstanding season”, Miller told
BBC Sport.
“He’s not managed to score against Celtic yet and I know that’s something that eats away at him, but it wouldn’t surprise me to see that change at the weekend.
“I’ve been singing Ryan Kent’s praises this term and he’s been one of the outstanding players from Rangers’ new additions this season. It maybe took him three, four or five games to settle in but since then he’s been outstanding.”

Furthermore, he thinks Allan McGregor and Scott Arfield are pivotal.

“…for me, Allan McGregor has probably been the best signing that has been made this season”, he continued.
“Scott Arfield has been a decent enough addition as well. Many Rangers fans would say the last Old Firm game was one of his better games.”

Verdict:

Three of the four players Miller identified are on the shortlist for the Player of the Year award.
That’s corroboration of their importance to the side.
It’s no surprise to see Arfield picked out, either. Like Kent, he was a stand out during the win at Ibrox in December, dominating Scott Brown throughout the game.

For me, an additional name would be Connor Goldson.
You can’t hope for three points without a strong display at the back and the 26-year-old leads the Gers defence.
If he has a blinder, it’ll make McGregor’s job a whole lot easier.
