Talented Rangers midfielder Stephen Kelly will be hoping to give Giovanni van Bronckhorst some food for though after netting a stunning free kick for the Scotland U21s.
The 22-year-old star is returning to Ibrox after a stint on loan at League Two Salford City and will be hoping to leave an impression ahead of pre-season.
The youngster netted a terrific free-kick which went in off the bar in the eventual 1-1 draw with the Denmark U21s.
This stunning effort from Stephen Kelly came just moments before the interval before Red Bull Salzburg youngster Maurits Kjaergaard equalised in the second period.
It’s a beautiful strike for the somewhat forgotten Rangers youngster who at one point was amongst the most highly-rated youth prospects at the club.
Stephen Kelly to return to Rangers after Scotland U21s stunner
Now is the time for Kelly to begin making an impression at Rangers and this is a big pre-season for the player if he harbours any serious ambitions of doing so.
At an age where he needs to be playing regularly, Stephen Kelly is entering the final year of his contract at Rangers and both the club and player face some big decisions in the coming months.
The midfielder has impressed across three separate loan spells, the first coming with Ayr United in the Championship and the second with Ross County in the Premiership.

The most recent loan move was to Salford City where Kelly left a decent impression, playing in 21 games for the club and scoring one goal in a six month loan stint.
Rangers will now assess Stephen Kelly ahead of the new season and let’s hope that no matter what happens the youngster can kick on and we see free kicks like this on a more regular basis.
Meanwhile, a new deal for a Rangers international is “likely a priority” heading into next season.
