While most players have already returned to Glasgow after international duty, a few Gers were still playing for their country on Tuesday.

Alfredo Morelos was in action for Colombia during the morning. Then, later in the afternoon, Glen Kamara took to the field for Finland.

El Buffalo’s Colombia were on the end of a defeat to South Korea, but no such fate befell Kamara.

Finland ran out 2-0 winners against Armenia, giving them the first points of their Euro 2020 qualifying campaign.

The win came away from home, making it all the more impressive.

Kamara played the full 90 minutes against Italy at the weekend and featured throughout again on Tuesday, as he establishes himself as a key player for the national team.

He picked up a booking during the first half after tussling with Henrikh Mkhitaryan. However, other than that he passed relatively serenely through the game.

His struggles with Dundee earlier in the season look a million miles away now as he struts his stuff at Ibrox and on the international scene.

Yet, it would take a brave man to leave him out based on current form.

Kamara looks the real deal, and at just 23-years-old, he’s only going to get better.
