As Rangers fans get ready to tune in Euro 2020, they’ll have one eye on the performances of Glen Kamara as he helps guide Finland to a first-ever international tournament.

The ex-Arsenal Academy graduate is set to play a key role for the nation and they showed precisely why with a neat highlights reel ahead of the tournament’s kick-off.

The reel shows Kamara at his fluid best, the midfielder’s on-pitch awareness and ability to turn remarkably quickly the hallmarks of his imposing style.

A player of the highest quality, Kamara is expected to shine during the tournament and is one of five Rangers players in action across Europe this summer.

Rangers have of course been celebrating their top talent as they prepare for the tournament and even retweeted the official Finland account as they showcased Kamara.

However, reportedly one of the club’s most highly sought-after talents, the exposure given to Kamara at the tournament could act as a catalyst for a potential exit.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has repeatedly talked up a new contract whilst Kamara himself insists his focus is on 56 next season, but that hasn’t stopped teams being linked.

Up to 13 clubs have been linked to Kamara in the past and Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to both praise one of their star men but also urge him to stay:

 

There are plenty of midfielders being linked to Rangers at the moment but Gers fans will be hoping to retain the services of the Finnish international.

However, one report coming out of Germany has suggested that the Gers are lining up a contingency plan should Kamara move on.
