Michael Beale has reacted on Twitter to an incredible moment from Rangers star Ianis Hagi in a high-profile international between Romania and Germany.
Despite missing a number of matches after testing positive for Covid in September, Hagi has made a strong start to the season at club level.

The 22-year-old has two goals and two assists to his name so far and Rangers look a poorer, less creative side when he’s not in the starting XI.
Prior to this international break, despite already racking up 20 senior international caps, he hadn’t fully established himself with Romania.
He only had one goal to his name and hasn’t always been a guaranteed starter.
However, a moment of brilliance in the ninth minute of a Group J World Cup Qualifier against Germany in Hamburg on Friday night may have changed all that.
After picking up the ball on the right flank, Hagi drove forward and, despite being surrounded by white shirts, showed incredible feet to go past Antonio Rudiger, before poking a clinical left-footed finish into the far corner.

It was a remarkable goal that stunned the Volksparkstadion and prompted a simple but effective tweet from Gers first-team coach Beale, which racked up over 4k likes.

Sadly for Hagi, his individual brilliance wouldn’t be enough to secure a big upset, as Germany turned things around in the second half through goals from Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller to triumph 2-1.
It’s still a moment to remember for the Ger, though, and it may have added a few million pounds to his asking price.
He’s now almost certain to start Romania’s second and final match of this international block against Armenia in Bucharest on Monday night.
In other news, one of Hagi’s Rangers teammates was benched for a World Cup Qualifier as his international woes continue.
