Five young Rangers players have been called up to the Scotland U21s squad for a crunch tie against Greece [Scottishfa.co.uk].
The two sides currently sit atop their UEFA European Under-21 Qualifying group, so there’s plenty riding on the game at Tynecastle, scheduled for the evening of Friday 15th November.
Goalkeepers Robby McCrorie and Kieran Wright have each got the call-up, with both competing with Ayr United no.1 Ross Doohan to be named between the sticks.

Despite his continued struggles on-loan at Portsmouth, Ross McCrorie is likely to captain the side. He’s been flitting between central midfield, right-back and the bench this season, but is experienced at youth international level.
Providing some creativity and flair, are Stephen Kelly and Glenn Middleton.
Kelly is currently enjoying an excellent loan spell at Ayr United, having scored four goals in fifteen appearances to date [Soccerbase]. His passing range and prowess from free-kicks could come in handy if given an opportunity in this one.

Finally, Middleton, who is out on loan at Hibernian, will also be hoping to contribute. He scored at that this age group against San Marino in September and will be hoping for minutes and success amid something of a barren run at club level.
Scotland U21s have been solid at the back in recent times, but goals have been hard to come by. Both of their last two matches ended in 0-0 draws at home to Lithuania and then away to Czech Republic.
