Fashion Sakala has scored his second hattrick in just three weeks, this time against Mauritania in Zambia’s important World Cup qualifier.
The match was a one-sided affair, with Zambia prevailing 4-0 against their group rivals. Highly rated Leicester City forward Patson Daka scored Zambia’s other goal.

Zambia currently sits second in their qualifying group. They face a tough match against Group leaders Tunisia in their final game.
Another Sakala hattrick will get the Rangers supporters buzzing in anticipation for the next few weeks ahead.
With an important League Cup semi-final approaching and crunch European tie, the Zambians confidence must be sky-high.
Having scored his first competitive Rangers goal against Motherwell in September, before bagging a superb treble against the same opposition just three weeks ago.
The performance against Motherwell was excellent and was a real coming of age moment for the young African striker.
The more I see of the player, the more I reckon we have got a rough diamond. there is still some work to be done before he turns into the finished article, but learning from players such as Morelos and Roofe will stand him in good stead.

This hattrick shows that he can cut it on the international stage, albeit against Mauritania, and will give him a massive boost before coming back to Glasgow next week.
