Rangers have no fewer than 11 first-team players out on international duty as the rest of the club’s squad take an October breather.

The Gers won five out of the six matches between this UEFA Nations League break and the last with the only blot on Philippe Clement’s copybook coming against Lyon.

Ahead of a crucial run of fixtures between October and November, there will be no fewer than 11 players flying the Rangers flag whilst representing their country and here’s how you can catch them live.

John Souttar – Scotland

Rangers centre-back John Souttar has his eyes on a starting berth with Scotland amid injuries and call-offs in the national squad.

The 28-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the season at Ibrox and will be hoping for Steve Clarke to repay him with minutes against Croatia (A) and Portugal (H) in the UEFA Nations League.

Nordic broadcasters Viaplay will be screening both Scotland games live on YouTube on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.

Ross McCausland – Northern Ireland

It’s been over a year since Rangers winger Ross McCausland first stepped into the Northern Ireland set-up and the young winger is a big part of Michael O’Neill’s plans with the nation.

The ex-Linfield youngster now has four caps for his country but has never started for Northern Ireland.

Perhaps the winger will be hoping that changes against Belarus (A) and Bulgaria (H) in the UEFA Nations League with McCausland still on the hunt for his first goal.

Northern Ireland’s matches will also been screened on Viaplay’s YouTube channel.

Vaclav Cerny – Czech Republic

Czech winger Vaclav Cerny was both the hero and the villain of the piece in the six games between this international break and the last.

The Wolfsburg loanee has joined to make a difference in the final third but wasted big opportunities in the Europa League clashes against Malmo and Lyon.

Making amends with a double against St Johnstone before the break, Cerny is set to play for the Czechs against Albania (H) and Ukraine (A) in the UEFA Nations League.

Nedim Bajrami – Albania

Albanian playmaker Nedim Bajrami is a key player for his country and has made a promising start to life at Rangers.

Expected to be a crucial player for the Ibrox side too, Bajrami faces a UEFA Nations League double header against the Czech Republic (A) and Georgia (A).

That means the midfielder will likely come up against Rangers teammate Vaclav Cerny and it’s an Ibrox reunion fans will have a close eye on this coming Friday.

Ianis Hagi – Romania

Rangers have recalled Ianis Hagi to their squad following a summer of discontent involving the Romanian playmaker.

With Hagi seemingly destined to leave Ibrox following Euro 2024, an exit never materialised and after a contract dispute was eventually settled, Ianis returned to Rangers training.

Making his first appearance of the season against St Johnstone, Hagi’s red card means he’s going to miss Rangers’ next three matches.

But the midfielder will hope to get minutes for Romania in UEFA Nations League clashes with Cyprus (A) and Lithuania (A).

Mohamed Diomande – Ivory Coast

Mohamed Diomande continues his international development with the country of his birth in the Ivory Coast.

The highly-rated midfielder also had the chance to play for Ghana but now has three caps for the Ivorians as he looks to make his mark on the African stage.

Diomande will hope to make it four and five as Ivory Coast face an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header v Sierra Leone.

Connor Barron, Robbie Fraser, Lewis Budinauckas, Leon King – Scotland U21s

Rangers have no fewer than four players in the Scotland U21s as they face a double-header against Belgium (H) and Kazakhstan (A) in European U21 Championship qualifying.

Connor Barron might’ve had his eyes on a senior Scotland call, whilst Robbie Fraser, Lewis Budinaukas and Leon King will hope to impress on U21 duties.

Both matches will be screened live on the Scotland National Team’s YouTube channel.

Neraysho Kasanwirjo – Netherlands U21s

The final Rangers first-team star who finds himself on international duty is Dutch U21s defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo.

The 22-year-old defender is on a season-long loan from Feyenoord and has impressed watching Rangers fans on his appearances for the club so far.

The Dutch youth side are set to face off against the Mexico U23s (H) in a friendly before facing the Sweden U21s (A) in European U21 Championship qualifying.
