Rangers have received an injury boost ahead of their Europa League Group A clash with Sparta Prague.
The Gers are missing a number of first-team players right now due to injuries, with Filip Helander, Ryan Jack and Ryan Kent all out, while Nnamdi Ofoborh remains sidelined with a possible heart problem.

However, during Wednesday morning’s press conference, Steven Gerrard did confirm one boost.
Scott Arfield was absent from the matchday squad for Saturday’s trip to Dundee in the Premiership and he sat out of training on Tuesday with an unspecified issue, but is now fit and available for selection.
“Scott missed training yesterday but he’s back available for today’s session so he’ll travel with us and come back into the squad,” said Gerrard [RangersTV].
The manager would later mention Arfield again after being asked to give a comprehensive squad update.
“As it was from the weekend,” he began. “Scott Arfield and Stephen Kelly will come back in and travel with us, they were both outside the squad [at the weekend].”
“Robby McCrorie will come back in and travel with us but the injury situation [with Helander, Jack and Kent] is as it was.”

Rangers receive injury boost ahead of Sparta Prague clash
Arfield has made 149 appearances for Rangers, all under Steven Gerrard, and he’s performed well in Europe in the past.
Last season, he scored a crucial goal in the Gers’ 2-1 Europa League playoff win over Galatasaray, while he also found the net against both Benfica and Standard Liege during the group stages.
He’s had a reduced role during the opening stages of this campaign, with Joe Aribo often getting the nod ahead of him in midfield, but he’s a good option for Gerrard to have at his disposal in the Czech capital.
Meanwhile, Sparta are set to be understrength due to an injury crisis.
