During Thursday morning’s press conference, as followed by the Rangers Twitter account, Steven Gerrard provided an injury update.
There are two players with fitness concerns heading into Friday night’s SPL clash with Hibernian.

Ryan Jack
The highly influential central midfielder is struggling with an issue picked up during the draw with Aberdeen.
The Evening Times reported earlier in the week that the 27-year-old had been to hospital for checks on a foot injury.
Therefore, Bears were bracing for bad news.
However, the manager described the problem as a ‘knock’. Therefore, he is still in contention to feature at Easter Road.
“I’ll give him every chance but I won’t take a risk”, said Gerrard.
Gareth McAuley
The veteran defender has struggled to find a place in the squad since the winter break.
He wasn’t seen at all in February and now, he seems to have picked up another injury setback.
“We had an in-house game yesterday, McAuley has a hamstring issue after this, but he is the only new issue”, the manager explained.
It’s a blow for the Northern Ireland international, as his Ibrox woes continue.
Injury and lack of form have limited him to just seven league appearances since his summer move.
