Rangers fans have reacted with disappointment after Joe Aribo was ruled out of this weekend’s Scottish Premiership fixture against Hamilton Academical [Rangers FC Twitter].
The Gers make the trip out of Glasgow for the late kick-off on Saturday, hoping to record a fifth win from their opening six league matches.

Rangers swept Kilmarnock aside 2-0 last weekend and barring a dismal display at Livingston, it’s been a good start to the campaign for Steven Gerrard’s men.
However, injury problems ensure the manager is still some way short of having a full squad to pick from against Accies.
On Friday morning, he confirmed that Joe Aribo and Jermain Defoe are unavailable for selection.
Both players would be in the squad if fit, but Aribo is undoubtedly the bigger loss.
The Nigeria international was arguably Rangers’ best player in pre-season and carried that form into the opening games of the campaign, looking full of confidence in three consecutive wins and scoring against St Johnstone.

However, an ankle injury has ruled him out of the more recent games against Livingston and Killie and he’s now set to be absent for a third week running.
Plenty of Bears were disappointed with the update, given how influential Aribo has been so far this campaign, with his presence bringing a lot of creativity in the final third.
