Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has provided an injury update, as quoted by the Rangers FC Twitter, ahead of Wednesday night’s Premiership clash against Hibernian.
The Edinburgh club travel to Ibrox for a 7.45 pm kick-off and the Gers will be hoping to get back on track after an immensely disappointing dip in form.

Two players are set to miss out as they continue their respective rehabilitations, but the skipper looks as though he may be fit to start.
“James (Tavernier) is available and a lot more ready than the weekend, Greg Stewart is back available and Alfredo has had 90 minutes under his belt,” said Gerrard, as quoted by Rangers FC Twitter.
“Ryan Jack won’t be long but has no chance for tomorrow. Helander, hopefully, will return in around 4/5 weeks.”
Verdict
It will be a massive boost if Tavernier is finally able to make his first appearance of 2020 following his appendix procedure.
While Matt Polster has performed admirably in recent games, the captain is a level above and as well as an on-field leader, brings real attacking threat down the right side.
He racked up 12 assists in all competitions over the first half of the season, and will no doubt be raring to go after a rare period on the sidelines.

Greg Stewart was declared available ahead of the game against Aberdeen but didn’t make the squad, so perhaps his name being mentioned again here suggests he could come into the 18.
Naturally, it’s a major blow to still be without Ryan Jack, but it’s useful to finally have some sort of timeline on Filip Helander’s return to action.
The Swedish centre-back has been out since December’s League Cup Final due to a foot injury, and while he clearly has a long way to go to reach full fitness, at least he’s expected back well before the end of the season.
