Rangers are set to face off against eight-goal Sparta Prague winger Lukas Haraslin in the Europa League as the winger returns from injury.
The former Sassuolo attacker, 27, is a key player for the Czech side and has already netted eight goals this season with seven coming in ten matches in the nation’s First League.
Returning from the bench in the weekend win over Bohemians after a brief absence from the side which saw Lukas Haraslin miss three matches – including the 0-0 Europa League draw with Rangers in Prague – the attacker is now available for the midweek trip to Glasgow.
“Of course I’m glad he’s back,” said Sparta Prague boss Brian Priske. “Yes, he will be available for the next match on Thursday in Glasgow and on Saturday in Banik.”
Lukas Haraslin returns in time for Rangers Sparta Prague
Having only scored once in a disappointing stint in Italy, Lukas Haraslin has emerged as the key dangerman for Priske’s energetic Czech side.
A total of 22 goals and 20 assists in 86 games is a noble return for the Slovak winger ever since joining Sparta Prague in 2021 and Rangers will be well aware of the attacker’s exploits.
At the same time as Lukas Haraslin is set to return, Sparta Prague will be without influential captain and Czech midfielder Ladislav Krejci.
The Sparta Prague captain is still sidelined due to injury and will not be available for the trip to Rangers, who have plenty of injury problems of their own.

Scottish winger Scott Wright – who is on resurgent form under Philippe Clement – is the latest name to join a relentless list of problems at Ibrox.
Rangers and Sparta Prague are currently locked on four points apiece after three games in Europa League Group C with matchday four set to be pivotal one in the campaign.
With Real Betis expected to defeat Aris Limassol to move onto nine points, Rangers can open a three point gap between themselves and Sparta Prague heading into the final two matches.
A home tie against the Cypriots is set to follow Rangers’ clash with Sparta Prague, with the visit to Spain ahead of the League Cup Final set up as a potential group decider.
