Andrew Dallas is one of Rangers’ most promising youth prospects.
The 19-year-old forward is yet to make his competitive debut for the Gers, but he was promoted to the bench on several occasions this season.
Since January, he’s been on a difficult loan assignment. He and keeper, Robby McCrorie, joined Greenock Morton, in the Championship.

McCrorie cemented himself as no.1 and kept three consecutive clean sheets to end the season. However, goals were hard to come by for the ‘Ton and Dallas struggled. He failed to find the net in twelve appearances.
The same can’t be said for the teenager when he’s in action for Rangers Reserves, though.
The SPFL Reserve League came to a triumphant end for the Young Gers on Monday, with a 3-1 win that crowned them champions.

Rhys Breen drew them level, before a Dallas grabbed a brace, in an impressive comeback at Falkirk. It was fitting that he should contribute on the final day, given his importance to Graeme Murty’s side throughout the season.

Those final two strikes took him to a total of 14 for the season. That’s impressive enough in its own right, but when you consider there were only 17 matches and Dallas missed at least a handful, it becomes a remarkable tally.

Dallas top of the pile

With 14, he finishes three clear of Hibernian’s Jamie Gullen and four clear of Celtic’s Jack Aitchison.

Glenn Middleton was in excellent form towards the back of the season, and sneaks onto the list in sixth place, with eight goals.

It’s an excellent achievement from Dallas, showing he’s head and shoulders above the other forwards at this level.
He’s a brilliant prospect and will hopefully prove himself in senior football if given another opportunity, next season.
